16U’S STUMBLE AGAINST TOP GUN
Salem, NH- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins dropped an 8-1 decision against Top Gun on Saturday evening.
Top Gun grabbed the lead four minutes into the contest and took a two-goal lead with 18:23 left in the first half.
Another Top Gun goal three and half minutes later put the 16U's down by three.
Max Ryan answered back with 14:39 remaining in the opening half when he scored from down low, but Top Gun got it back with 12:03 on the clock.
After a quiet start to the second half, Top Gun went up 5-1 at the 9:49 mark.
A power play goal with 9:01 remaining increased the 16U’s deficit to five.
Top Gun made it 7-1 with 5:37 left and finished things off with 1:01 to go.
The two teams rematch at the Salem ICEnter tomorrow at 11:05 AM.
