Marlborough, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins 18-and-under team fell 7-3 to the New England Fall Prep League Wildcats on Sunday morning.
The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead, scoring twice in the opening minute of the game.
Another goal with 18:04 left in the first half put the 18U's down by three.
The Wildcats tallied with 10:32 on the clock to go up 4-0.
Axel Vaillincourt put the 18U's on the board when he banged home his own rebound with 6:55 remaining in the half. Jack O'Neil assisted on the play.
Tristan Fedele pulled the 18U's within two thanks to a blast from the point just 18 seconds into the second half.
The Wildcats, however, squashed the rally when they responded one minute and twelve seconds later.
A goal with 19:38 to go put the Wildcats up 6-2.
Jack O'Neil tipped in a power play goal with 14:13 remaining.
The Wildcats finished things off with a goal with 3:47 left.
The 18U's are back in action on Saturday when they travel to the ICEnter in Salem, NH, for a tilt with Top Gun. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
