Braintree, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins 16-and-under team skated to a 4-4 draw with the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon.

Goaltender Gabe Rudolph and his Wolfpack counterpart kept the game scoreless until Chris Alexander led a two-on-one before passing the puck to Nick Thornton, who fired it past the Wolfpack goaltender with 3:39 to go in the opening half.

Vincent Castro put the 16U's up by two with 19:21 left when he pulled the puck out of a scrum in front of the net and knocked it in.

Three minutes later, Wolfpack finally solved Rudolph with a power play goal.

A shorthanded goal by the Wolfpack with 14:28 remaining tied the game at 2-2.

Alexander put the 16U's in front by banging home Max Ryan's rebound with 12:20 left, but the Wolfpack countered a minute and a half later.

A power play saw the 16U's again regain the lead with 10:06 to go, as Max Sullivan set up Anthony Madarese from the point, and Madarese shot the puck through traffic into the net.

Again, the Wolfpack answered with 9:28 on the clock to tie the game.

Neither team was able to grab the lead before time expires.

The 16U's close out the weekend tomorrow at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro when they face the Seacoast Performance Academy at 12:40 PM.
