Bedford, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins 18-and-under team dropped a 6-2 decision to the East Coast Wizards on Saturday night.

A power-play goal with 5:25 to go in the opening half gave the Wizards the lead, which they stretched to two goals just over 30 seconds later.

The 18U's appeared to get on the board thanks to Brad Guden, but the referees disallowed the goal.

Jack O'Neil found the back of the net when he scored from the slot with 20:40 left in the game.

The Wizards restored the two-goal lead with 9:06 remaining.

O'Neil netted his second of the contest with 3:16 to play to bring the 18U's back within one.

Goaltender Kyle Bolduc skated off with 1:20 remaining, but the Wizards tallied an empty net goal with 56 seconds left, and then added two more in the final minute to round out the scoring.

The 18U's return to action on Sunday when they play the American Hockey Academy at 2:00 PM at the Devine Memorial Rink in Dorchester.
