Wellesley, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins fell 9-1 to the Boston Jr. Eagles on Wednesday evening.

The Eagles broke the game open early when they scored 1:45 into the contest. They netted two more in the fifth minute and went up 4-0 with three minutes to go in the period.

The second period saw the Eagles strike with 12:54 on the clock and get another one just over a minute later before scoring their third of the frame with 8:14 remaining.

Anthony Madarese put the 16U's on the board with 38 seconds to go in the period when he picked off a clearing attempt and fired it into the net.

Two more Eagles goals, one with 13:15 to go and another with 3:16 left, accounted for the final score.

The 16U's return to play tomorrow when they face the Boston Jr. Terriers at the Murphy Rink in South Boston. Game time is set for 3:30 PM.
