2024 TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED
Dorchester, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins are proud to announce tryouts for the 2024 fall midget hockey season. There will be two teams this season, one in the 16-and under age group and the other in the 18-and-under age group. Both teams will be eligible for the 2025 USA Hockey National Championship.
Tryout dates are as follows:
Friday – April 12th @ Devine Memorial Rink- Dorchester, MA.
‘06- ‘09- Midgets - Tier 1 - N.B. - 7:00 pm to 7:50 pm
Saturday – April 13th @ Devine Memorial Rink - Dorchester, MA.
‘06- ‘09- Midgets - Tier 1 - N.B. - 2:00 pm to 2:50 pm
Sunday - April 14th @ Devine Memorial Rink - Dorchester, MA.
‘06- ‘09- Midgets - Tier 1 - N.B. - 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm
The Devine Memorial Rink is located at 995 Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester, MA.
Players who were registered with Mass Hockey or USA Hockey last season are eligible for these Tryouts. Players may only be on one National Bound roster.
Registration will begin one hour before the scheduled tryout time. The fee is $75 cash or checks payable to GBL Boston Jr. Bruins. Register as age eligible 2006- 2009.
Players eligible must have a date of birth from 2006 – 2009 for tryouts.
The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins play in the Eastern Alliance Kickoff, Junior Bruins Shootout, Columbus Day Showcase as well as the Fall Beantown Classic with top ranked teams. All teams will be participating in the very competitive EHF - Select Tier 1 League as well and the Mass Hockey National Bound State Tournament.
Travel and hotel costs during the season are out of pocket.
