Dorchester, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins 18-and-under team fell 4-0 to the East Coast Wizards on Sunday afternoon.

The 18U’s looked poised to break the game open in the early minutes of the game, unleashing a flurry of shots at the Wizards goaltender to no avail. An early power play provided another chance to get on the board, and a shot by Jack D’Alelio had beaten the goalie but clanked off the post.

The Wizards ended up drawing first blood with only 23 seconds to go in the period.

A goal by the Wizards with 12:26 left in the second put the 18U’s down by two.

After a stretch that saw both teams get frustrated by the goaltenders, the Wizards went up by three thanks to a power-play goal with 10:52 remaining.

Another goal 31 seconds later rounded out the scoring.

The 18U’s will travel to Cushing Academy on Saturday to face off with the Central Mass Penguins at 4:00 PM.
