Marlborough, MA- The GBL Boston Jr. Bruins 18-and-under team fell to the Worcester Railers HC by a score of 4-2 on Friday evening.
The Railers looked to break the game open early as they scored two minutes and 17 seconds into the contest.
Finn Racki tied the game with 2:14 on the clock when he took a pass from Ryan Clay and blasted it into the net from the top of the slot.
Fifty-two seconds later, Caleb Racki gave the 18U’s the lead with help from Ben Romer and Jack D’Alelio.
The Railers tied the game with 17:39 remaining and pulled ahead with 6:49 to go.
Another goal with 3:33 left accounted for the final score.
The 18U’s return tomorrow at 4:00 PM when they face the Springfield Jr. Thunderbirds 19U team at the New England Sports Center.
